In this collection of videos, Chad demonstrates his process of how he uses Adobe Photoshop to paint his cartoon illustrations into the computer. 

 

Starting from the basics, setting up your document and color spaces, to arranging your most used tools and saving them to use the next time you start up Photoshop.

 

After the basics are covered Chad dives right in and walks you threw the process he takes to sketch and paint his cartoons right into the computer.  Some of the topics Chad covers are as follows.

 

Blending with the brush tool, creating brushes, using the new puppet warp tool in CS5 to transform your character.  Also Chad shows you his process as to how to use basic shapes to block in simple and fast character studies.  After all of the technical stuff is out of the way Chad shows his process in rendering his cartoons to a polished look.
